Job Overview:
Position: Formulation Researcher II – Topical Formulations Location: Ambernath, India Industry: Pharma/Healthcare/Clinical Research Functional Area: Topical Formulations
Key Responsibilities:
As a Formulation Researcher II at Teva Pharmaceuticals, you will play a crucial role in the development of complex topical dosage forms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Expertise in Complex Topical Dosage Forms: Leveraging your knowledge and skills to excel in formulating complex topical medications.
- Utilizing QbD and DOE for Experimentation: Applying Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to guide your research.
- End-to-end QBD-based Product Development: Contributing to the entire product development process based on Quality by Design principles.
- Physicochemical Properties and Characterization: Analyzing and characterizing the physicochemical properties of formulations.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborating with diverse teams to ensure the success of your projects.
- Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Identifying challenges and implementing process improvements as necessary.
- Literature Review and Patent Analysis: Staying up-to-date with the latest research and analyzing relevant patents.
- Pilot and Scale-Up Batch Execution: Overseeing pilot and scale-up batch execution for product development.
- Quality Target Product Profile (QTPP) Definition: Defining the Quality Target Product Profile to guide the development process.
- Regulatory Filing Support: Assisting in regulatory filing processes to ensure compliance.
- SOP Maintenance and Records Management: Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and managing records effectively.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Ph.D. or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Space.
- Strong knowledge of Topical Product Development.
- An understanding of Regulatory Guidelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
